Lesson Subject: “TRUST GOD ANYWAY”
Lesson Scripture: Philippians 4:4-7, (NLT)
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
1. Trust is NOT an EMOTION.~John 14:1, “Let not your hearts be troubled. Ye believe in God believe also in me.” ~Philippians 4:4, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;”
2. Remember: God LOVES You~Ephesians 3:17-18, “I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love.18 And may you have the power to understand as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep his love really is.” ~Philippians 4: 6, “….do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
3. HOLD ON to What Will Last~Psalm 20: 7, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.” ~Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
